Verdant Trench

I imagined growth appearing in a place that seemed unable to support it. I let the vivid center emerge from a darker, interrupted surface. I wanted the work to suggest persistence without becoming an illustration of nature.

Materials and specifications: Solid 925 Sterling Silver, Natural Tourmaline, Tsavorite Garnet; Size: HK 16 (approx. US 7.5); Weight: 9.2g. Dual-stone micro-setting, hand-textured bark motif.
