Mantle Fragment

I wanted the central form to keep its sense of being unfinished by us. I placed it within a structure that echoes fracture rather than imposing a smooth border. To me, the work holds the tension between finding something and claiming it.

Materials and specifications: Solid 925 Sterling Silver, Raw Mandarin Garnet Crystal, Tsavorite Garnet; Size: HK 14 (approx. US 6.75); Weight: 9.8g. Rough cast-in-place aesthetic, raw wax texture.

Edition: Unique specimen. Permanently collected.
