Subterranean Drift

I wanted the exterior and interior to speak at different volumes. I gave the outer wall a dense, interrupted rhythm and the inner curve a quieter movement. For me, the piece is a study of the difference between being seen and being held.

Materials and specifications: Solid 925 Sterling Silver, Natural Tourmaline; Size: HK 12 (approx. US 6); Weight: 9.7g. Heavy band casting, hand-textured wax surface.

Edition: Unique specimen. Permanently collected.
